A quiet place to meet what's underneath.

I'm Nathalie Contro, MA, LMFT. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to look beneath old patterns and find their way back to wholeness — through depth psychology, Jungian thought, and trauma-informed care.

Welcome

Hello, my name is Nathalie.

Welcome to my practice. I work with people navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma and PTSD, and difficulties in relationships — often ones that trace back to family-of-origin patterns. My focus is helping you actualize your true potential, understand the parts of yourself that feel stuck, and live in closer alignment with who you actually are.

My approach is integrative: depth psychology, Jungian and archetypal thought, person-centered work, parts work, CBT and DBT, mindfulness, and dreamwork — woven together into a path built around you, not a manual.

How I work

Three threads running through every session

01

Depth & the unconscious

We don't just talk about symptoms — we get curious about what they're pointing to. Dreams, recurring patterns, and the parts of yourself you've disowned all carry information. Making the unconscious conscious is often where lasting change begins.

02

Trauma-informed pacing

Nervous systems need safety before insight is useful. I move at a pace your body can tolerate, honoring defenses as intelligence rather than obstacles, especially with PTSD, complex trauma, and family-of-origin wounds.

03

Family systems & relationship

Whether you're in the room alone or with a partner or family member, I look at the relational field — the roles, loyalties, and patterns each person learned early — and help build healthier ways of relating and communicating.
